If I want to install jplay with minim what are the changes in setting required in minim or the control point(bubble in my case).
On the jplay forum they mention the "room" setting (kinsky) where one has to select jplay. What setting would that correspond to in bubble?

It's the Devices tab. You will need BubbleDS rather than BubbleUPnP because JPLAYStreamer only supports the OpenHome interface.
