hi,
today (July,16 2014) after an update of java, my minimserver fail.
i try to desinstall/reinstall. minimserver, reinstall java, some trouble.
my config. Windows7 64bits Prof. edition

This can happen if you updated Java from a 32-bit browser and previously had 64-bit Java installed. The "one click" update isn't smart enough to work out that you wanted the 64-bit version of the Java update.

Out of interest: Is there an advantage running MinimServer 64-bit over MS 32-bit? Whilst I have 64-bit Windows, I run MS 32-bit to avoid installing Java 64 bit. As browsers are still 32-bit, there is limited need for 64 bit Java and I don't want to install both 32 and 64 Java just for one program. Unless there are clear benefits for doing so.

There is little benefit in using 64-bit Java to run MinimServer on Windows.
The main benefit of 64-bit Java is that it removes the 4GB memory limitation of 32-bit Java. For some memory-intensive Java applications, this is important. For MinimServer, this isn't important.
The Windows x64 version of MinimServer is provided for compatibility with systems where the user has chosen to install 64-bit Java for some reason. Examples of this would be using Java with a 64-bit browser or using Java to run another Java application that needs a large memory space.

MinimServer doesn't currently support having both 32-bit and 64-bit Java installed. This is because the MinimServer launcher is unable to reliably select the matching Java version (32-bit or 64-bit) for the version of MinimServer (x86 or x64) that has been installed.
