Ignore tag not working - Printable Version

Hi,
I have update MinimServer to 0.8.1 update 25 on my QNAP NAS. I have tried using the new ignore.sort tag to ignore 'the' but it doesn't seem to be working. This is the tag I have used under tagOptions:
all.ignore.sort={The}
Maybe I've done something wrong.I hope you can help.

Thanks for reporting this. It's a bug in MinimServer and you haven't done anything wrong. I'll release an update with a fix either later today or tomorrow.

Thanks for reporting this. It's a bug in MinimServer and you haven't done anything wrong. I'll release an update with a fix either later today or tomorrow.

Thanks! This problem should be fixed in update 26 (now available).

I've updated to '26', shut down and restared MinimServer but I still can't get this to work.

It seems to work OK for me. Can you describe in more detail what problem you are seeing?

It seems to work OK for me. Can you describe in more detail what problem you are seeing?

For example, I want to find the album 'Revolver' by 'The Beatles', I go to Artist>>> B>>> No Beatles, The Beatles are listed under 'T' as The Beatles.
In MinimServer under tagOptions I have: Album.sortTags={Album, Artist},all.ignore.sort={The}

I must have done something wrong but I can't see what!

Thanks for explaining the connection with alphaGroup. I don't use this myself, so I hadn't noticed the problem. This will be fixed in the next update.

This problem with alphaGroup and custom sort values is now fixed in update 27.
