Minimserver on Mavericks OSX - rotur - 03-02-2014 00:04 First post for me. I'm unable to find the right path for my WD NAS (attached via ethernet to my Fritzbox 7270)...it does not appear under Volumes or any other Public/Shared location. Manually pointing to it via the content dir returns absolute path errors as previously noted by other users. Please advise...and apologies if this is basic or has been covered elsewhere Edit: Having installed Minimstreamer has now enabled the Public folder under Volumes to become visible. Have selected that and ponted to the subfolders where my music files live. Is that all I need to do ie will I now be able to access the files in Kinsky assuming it sees Minim as a host? Installing MinimStreamer shouldn't affect folder visibility, so there was probably some other reason why this happened. After changing any contentDir values, you need to initiate a MinimServer rescan by using the Rescan option from the minim icon in the menu bar. This should make your music visible to Kinsky. |
