The update to version 0.3.6 of MinimStreamer requires acceptance of a license which is time-limited to 30 June 2014. I do not think that version 0.3.5 had this limitation, which is not mentioned in the release notes. Is there a change of policy here?

The 0.3.5 version had exactly the same terms. These terms are also mentioned on the MinimStreamer home page.

The 0.3.5 version had exactly the same terms. These terms are also mentioned on the MinimStreamer home page.
Simon, thank you for bringing MinimStreamer into life which solved my feature request to transcode from ALAC. Excellent! What will happen after 30/07/14? Will be there a possibillity to purchase MinimStreamer?

I am considering that as a possibility, but I haven't made any decision yet.
(Note: the expiry date is 30/6/2014, not 30/7/2014.)

Do I understand you well that MinimStreamer will still be available after 30/06/2014, but you have not just decided whether for free or as a paid package?

This licensing term is saying that the current version of MinimStreamer is licensed until June. I am not making any commitment at present for what might happen after June.

MinimStreamer 0.4 has now been released, with a license extension to 31 December 2014.

Hi Simon,
MinimStreamer is a wonderful adjunct to MinimServer and I am using it now for all my internet radio. I would like to sell my Simaudio Moon Mind that I previously used. Maybe you can't answer this yet, but I'm going to ask anyway: Will Minimstreamer be available after the end of 2014? (Paid or free doesn't matter, I just want to have access.) Thanks!

I don't have any current intentions to do anything that would cause MinimStreamer to become unavailable after the end of 2014. However, I can't make any firm commitments for what might happen in future. I hope this is helpful.
