Lumin have just bought out a update.
Slight changes around editing playlists.
Only works on newly made playlists. Locks up on old saved ones (on my iPad).
Still the best IMHO

I agree; I have tried all possibilities, including Bubbleupnpp on a Android tablet. No one is at the level of Lumin.

I juste pressed them on their fb page to offer pdf view per Simon's API. They always said it was not a priority

Maybe if we are many to do it ?

The linn app now has the better qobuz navigation than lumin since the update that came in today. (IMHO)

What is missing:
* really fullscreen and zoomable cover art display on touch of the now playing cover
* option to enqueue a track without interrupting playback of the current track on one touch.

Some issues I have with the lumin app (using a lumin U1 mini streamer)

* loading the qobuz favorite list is flickering multiple times until it is loaded and usable (iPad2018)
* sometimes some covert arts are not loaded. You have to scroll the entries out of view and back again to make the cover art visible.
* touching multiple tracks quickly to add them to the playlist adds them in reverse order (in one touch mode)
* sometimes (I guess when the app did loose the connection to the streamer and reconnects it) the navigation is resetted and jumps back to the start screen e.g. of qobuz.

Is there a way to file such bugs to the developers? Sending an email to the support did not bring a reaction.

I agree tarnkappe that the Linn app handles Qobuz really well and colourfully. If only it did the same with stuff on my NAZ.

On Lumin - I have found that sometimes when searching Qobuz it will drop out. No other problems.

Hello. I'm new to this forum and relatively new to minimserver. I use a Cambridge Audio CXN2 as the renderer (i.e. to play music to my stereo system). I'm looking for a upnp browser that runs on Windows and has a nice display with album art, etc. Incorporating Tidal would be nice, too. I only want it as a control point to send music from minimserver on my NAS, to the Cambridge Audio music server. I tried Kazoo (which looked very promising) but on startup it hangs and won't get past "searching for rooms." I had the impression that maybe it requires a Linn media server to operate? I haven't tried Lumin yet - any idea if it will work without a Lumin device?

Many thanks for any help or advice.

Both Kazoo and the LUMIN app need an OpenHome renderer to function. All streamers/players from Linn and LUMIN support OpenHome, as do some streamers/players from a few other manufacturers. The majority of streamers/players support the UPnP/DLNA renderer protocol.

The BubbleUPnP Server program (not the same as the BubbleUPnP control point app) can "wrap" a UPnP/DLNA renderer to add OpenHome support. For more details, see this page.

Is there a specific reason that you are looking for a Windows application?
Most people use an Android / iOS tablet or phone to control their system.
Lumin is not Windows compatible by the way.
You might try the Audionet Windows app, it does work with my CA StreamMagic 6.
Volume control does not work in my case and it sometimes seems to lose connection (the renderer is playing but the app does not show the time progress bar and is stuck on the first album track).

When I auditioned a CXN at home, I found that it worked reliably only with its own control app and not with the (Android) control points that I tried. Those would have been BubbleUPnP, HiFiCast, and possibly others.

Of course, maybe I missed something, and maybe Cambridge has changed that. I have heard from others, though, that they were unable to get the CXN2 working with other controllers than Cambridge's own.

I found it a very nice unit otherwise.
