Yes, but this is all a matter personal preferences.
LUMIN is high rated at this forum and I must say it has nice features (e.g. enlarging pictures).
The layout however is a bit messy and I don't like the small font size nor the all over old-fashioned looks.
But most important, things should work properly and in this case the OP has problems has problems getting things working.

The best feature is hyperlinks in the album/tracks details that let you search in the library very easily, a sort of cross reference functionality

MinimServer is a UPnP server. OpenHome is a UPnP renderer and control point feature. This is why MinimServer does not provide any special support for OpenHome. MinimServer is fully compatible with UPnP control points and renderers that support OpenHome.
Despite its name, BubbleUPnPServer (when used to provide OpenHome compatibility) is not a UPnP server. It combines UPnP renderer and UPnP control point functionality.

is it technically impossible to implement OpenHome compatibility in MinimServer ?? (as Lumin app and MinimServer is a perfect duo !)

MinimServer is a UPnP Server. This would be a UPnP renderer to OpenHome control point bridge. It is technically possible to implement such a thing and call it MinimServer but it would not be technically part of the MinimServer that we have today.

but... it would be "one-stop-shopping" and more importantly "one-stop-support" !! and as Lumin advises MinimServer, this would make sense (and value for MinimServer)
