RE: minimserver 2.2 update 247 crashed - tarnkappe - 12-05-2024 14:03 My NAS has a RAM extension installed, so it has 6 GB in total. But everytime I check the RAM state 4 GB are used for buffering only and nearly 1 GB is free. So RAM should not be the problem. RE: minimserver 2.2 update 247 crashed - simoncn - 12-05-2024 23:32 The problem is caused by too many network connections having been opened, which has exceeded the Linux limit of 1024 file descriptors (see post #1). This is a fixed limit in Linux and is not affected by the amount of RAM available. All the information I have seen indicates that this problem is caused by the LUMIN app opening too many connections when reloading artwork images from MinimServer (1000 or more connections in a 30-second period). The solution is for the LUMIN app to open a smaller number of connections and load artwork images by sending multiple pipelined HTTP requests on the same connection. I don't have a contact at LUMIN. I suggest you contact LUMIN about this issue and refer them to this thread. RE: minimserver 2.2 update 247 crashed - tarnkappe - 26-05-2024 13:39 FYI: I now have asked Peter (wklie) in the audiophilestyle forum regarding this topic... https://audiophilestyle.com/forums/topic/14016-lumin-audiophile-network-music-player/?do=findComment&comment=1281172 RE: minimserver 2.2 update 247 crashed - stefano_mbp - 26-05-2024 13:53 Just realized that you’re using an Android tablet, therefore the Android Lumïn version. If this is correct I think you should mention it in your post on AS as it could help to narrow the issue |
