I would be surprised if changing switch ports affects this. It could change the timing slightly when the renderer closes the connection prematurely, which might possibly make a difference. The main issue is that the renderer keeps closing the connection prematurely.

Maybe the gapless upnp signalling (SetNextAVTRansportURI) could also be related....
Next week I will:
- implement the new sotm switch
- disable gapless in the mconnect app
- disable the Windows firewall (maybe also Windows Defender)

In all honesy, I prefer to have the Java IO error reported with the "Info" log level. In this way I can test for solutions in the coming period....

It is not an error for the renderer to read partial data from the stream and then close it. Reporting this as an error is confusing for users as they are likely to think something is wrong when in fact it isn't.
