Nothing happens. It works for flac:wav24;192 it also works for aiff:wav24;192 but nothing happens for aac:wav24;192
The text does not turn red to indicate a fault. It remains black but no transcoding actually happens.

It is possible that the CPU in the Melco could be overloaded by this transcoding combination. However, I have tried it and it is working for me. Does it work for you with a lower resolution such as aac:wav24;96?

I doubt it is an issue with CPU as aac:mp3 does not work either. This is a weird problem considering I can use flac:wav24;192 and aiff:wav24;192

I would like to see one of the aac files that does not work. I suspect there is some issue with how the file is encoded. There are different flavours of AAC such as low complexity and high efficiency. I will send you a PM with instructions for how to upload the file to my FTP server.

Both .aac and .mp4/.m4a/.m4b files contain AAC data but they have different internal formats and different file extensions to distinguish them.
From the MinimStreamer user guide, Transcoding section:
aac AAC (Advanced Audio Coding) files and streams in ADTS format. Valid for local files served by MinimServer (.aac) and for network streams.
mp4 MPEG-formatted files containing AAC audio data. Valid for local files served by MinimServer (.mp4, .m4a and .m4b) only.
