In the Replaygain thread someone had asked: Is it possible to use convolution and replaygain simutaneously? The advice given in post #118 (Feb 2021) had the Replaygain filter at end of the string. As that was a more recent post than one above I thought I would pose the question. I can see that it maybe should be posed on FFMPEG forum rather than here.

The problem with doing this (as stated in the text you quoted) is that convolution will remove the ReplayGain tags from the audio stream, so FFmpeg will not be able to apply the tagged ReplayGain values.
