I know of other applications where they are suggesting an annual donation of e.g. 30 GBP.

I've donated a long time ago. And I'll be donating again when the Recently Added functionality has been added, as that's something I would use a lot.

Same here. I was using Logitech Media Server on my Synology but had some issues that were fixed by using minimserver. Thanks!

Very happy with current setup (Synology 412+ with Minimserver > Sonore Rendu controlled by BubbleUpnp on Nexus 7 > DAC). Rock solid performance and excellent sound quality so made a second contribution.
