Like Rufus, i use Melco N1a with Devialet connected with USB.
I am asking me what is the benefice installing minimserver.
And it would you be very kind to share your instructions on how to install minimserver on N1A. Thank you in advance.

Anyone experiencing dropouts on DSD when driving a DAC direct via USB?

Simon, they are dsf DSD64 files. I am using Melco's own DoP transcode facility, not your MinimStreamer version.

Can you try the MinimStreamer version of DoP/WAV transcoding to see if this fixes the problem?
