Simon, can you please PM me the instructions for installing MinimServer/MinimStreamer on to the Melco. I want to see what is involved before parting with cash. Thanks.

Its super easy (as ever) and once installed it looks after itself TBH.

I notice new firmware 2.20 is available. I haven't tried it yet - it didn't seem to be available for direct download to my Melco earlier today. Anyone know what changes there are? I can't find any release notes or change log.

- Fixed issue to revert to "system checking" on OLED display in case of interfering network traffic from some devices on the Network.
- Song title display scrolls more smoothly during playing of DSD on local USB-DAC.
USB-DAC renderer
- Additional "Initial Pregap" menu on the USB-DAC setting supports adjusting proper waiting time for various response times from USB-DAC to avoid cut-off audio at start of track.
- Eliminate unintended noise on WAV files with various meta data. (INFO/ID3/Pro tools etc.)
- Improved stability for DSD64/128 playback.
- Improved stability for "seek" during playback.

Before updating the melco firmware I would appreciate a reminder about
a) - whether the firmware update has any minimserver impacts i.e. - requires anything extra actions to sustain the minimserver software or maybe even a new companion version etc.?
I realise its the holiday season and so this isn't super urgent from my perspective and I will just diarise it until I see a response. Many thanks in advance.
