It an Apple iMac running Monterey.

To check the network configuration of your iMac, do the following:
1) From System Preferences, open Network
2) Select the first network adapter and click the Advanced button
3) Select the TCP/IP tab
4) Make a note of the IPv4 address and subnet mask
5) Click Cancel to get back to the Network page
6) If you have more than one network adapter, repeat steps 2, 3, 4 and 5 for each adapter
What IPv4 addresses and subnet masks did you find?

Thanks for this. Can you disable (or unplug) the Ethernet adapter and enable the WiFi adapter? After doing this, stop and restart MinimWatch. This should cause MinimWatch to use the correct address and subnet mask to communicate with your Melco.

Hi Simon, do you mean remove the Ethernet connection from the back of the router? If so there is no wifi link in the Melco (it needs an Ethernet connection).

No, I was suggesting you remove the Ethernet cable from your iMac so that your iMac will use the WiFi adapter with the correct subnet when running MinimWatch.
If this change causes communication between your iMac and other devices to break, we will need to go deeper into your network setup to find a solution.

Hi Simon, that seems to solve the issue; Minimwatch connected immediately. I would still prefer to use a wired ethernet connection to my iMac so what do you think is the solution to solving this problem?

You would need to configure the wired adapter to have the correct subnet to communicate with your Melco. Do you know how the subnet for the wired adapter came to be different from the subnet for the wireless adapter? When you go to the Network/Advanced page for the wired adapter, what is the setting in the TCP/IP tab for Configure IPv4?

The only thing which has changed is that when I configured the Mesh system earlier this week, the 'Connection Type' was set as "Dynamic". When I spoke to the internet provider today, they said it would be better to use a Static IP address. Could this be a reason for the change in subnet?
Under the ethernet adapter/TCP/IP which you refer to, Configure IpV4 shows "Using DHCP", while IpV4 address shows "Renew DHCP lease". There is no other info listed.
