RE: can't get index artwork to work - simoncn - 16-11-2020 21:15 I agree but I am running out of possible explanations for why this isn't working for you. ![]() If you set indexArtwork to auto or all, do you see "automatic" artwork in the index? RE: can't get index artwork to work - simoncn - 16-11-2020 22:00 To check whether the files in the indexArtwork folder are being read by the rescan, place a test file named error.png in the indexArtwork folder and do a rescan. I have zipped a suitable file and attached it to this post. You should get this error message in the log: Warning: error reading image file E:\Muziek\indexArtwork\error.png: java.io.EOFException RE: can't get index artwork to work - Peter StreamMagic - 16-11-2020 22:28 (16-11-2020 22:00)simoncn Wrote: To check whether the files in the indexArtwork folder are being read by the rescan, place a test file named error.png in the indexArtwork folder and do a rescan. [attachment=2033] RE: can't get index artwork to work - simoncn - 16-11-2020 23:04 OK, so all is well with reading files from the indexArtwork folder. I think the problem is that you have named your artwork files incorrectly. If you check carefully, I think you will find that they are named Blues.jpg.jpg Pink Floyd.png.png Vivaldi, Antonio (1678-1741).jpg.jpg instead of Blues.jpg Pink Floyd.png Vivaldi, Antonio (1678-1741).jpg RE: can't get index artwork to work - Peter StreamMagic - 16-11-2020 23:54 (16-11-2020 23:04)simoncn Wrote: OK, so all is well with reading files from the indexArtwork folder. It shows up in XBMC, many thanks!! (a quick test on my PC) [attachment=2036] And for more fun. [attachment=2037] Probably most of the other controlpoints will show the new feature now. CA connect ignores IndexArtist. (a quick test on my PC) Both Linn apps,Creation C5,Fidata, mConnect, 8Player all seem to work. CA Connect, as mentioned before, ignores IndexArtist. IndexArtist "overrules" the automatic chosen images within the Lumin app. |
