Here are the log files Simon (from the first command)
The second command didn't run returning the no file or folder found error...

Thanks for sending these. They confirm that MinimServer was running normally at the time the scp commands were issued. What problem are you seeing that makes you think MinimServer isn't running?

Simon. Maybe it's the Ev driver or the Control4 platform. (this is basically a complicated linux box). When I "scan" for servers I can't see the Qnap running minimserver. What way can I "see" or "mount" or "scan" for minimserver via my OSX (mac) to see if in fact that is the problem

^I guess What I'm asking is if there is something (like a UPNP player) I could run in OSX that "play's" a minimserver "served up" library? To check..

^ Ok. So sorry Simon. Thanks for all the help. Can serve up minimserver from within Kinsky to the Linn. So the problem lies with EV and/or Control4 ..rebooting this now

It's some problem with the Extra Vegetables driver. It's not finding MinimServer even after a reboot of the entire system and when you "scan for servers".. it's not even finding twonky on the QNAP...
Believe me Simon..with all these third parties lining up in a row.. things can get complicated

No problem! I'm pleased to hear that the problem wasn't caused by a MinimServer crash. These are very rare, but do happen occasionally.
To make the diagnostic process easier in future, I'm going to investigate adding some code in the next release of the MinimServer QPKG to gather all these diagnostic files and put them into a .tar.gz file on the Public share of the QNAP. This would happen automatically when you disable MinimServer from the Package Center.
I'm not sure why the MinimWatch icon changed from yellow to grey. This is normally caused by a crash, but I couldn't see any indication of a previous crash in the diagnostic files. Please let me know if it happens again.
Also, I noticed in the logs you sent that some of your tracks have been ignored by MinimServer because of errors like this:
Error: ID3v2 'HoŠ' frame has invalid size 13878076 at offset 12418518 in file Gabriel Yared/The English Patient Original Soundtrack Recording/18 The English Patient Ask Your Saint Who He's Killed.aif (length 12428752)
This might be because the files are bad, or it might be a bug in MinimServer. I'll send you a PM about this.

From the log, I see that MinimServer is running out of memory. This might mean that the machine being used to run MinimServer doesn't have enough free memory for this.
What machine is MinimServer running on?
How much free memory is available for MinimServer?
What version of Java is being used? Is it headless? Is it Oracle Java or OpenJDK? If it's Oracle Java, is it the embedded JRE or the regular JRE?

It's a QNAP TS119 PII. I don't know how much memory is available.
Minimserver is installed as per your instructions (on the minimserver website).
