RE: MinimServer on Mac High Sierra 10.13.3 - Kevin Walton - 28-04-2018 23:40 Have checked in the ~/Library but no Minimserver folder there. I thought that if I deleted everything and started from the beginning it would solve the problem, but apparently not so. RE: MinimServer on Mac High Sierra 10.13.3 - simoncn - 29-04-2018 14:48 This means that your MinimServer installation is broken in some way and double-clicking on the MinimServer application in the Applications folder has not started the MinimServer process. There might be a message in the system console about this. You can view the system console by double-clicking Console in the Applications/Utilties folder shortly after you have double-clicked on the MinimServer application in the Applications folder. Double-clicking it should open a window containing two files: LICENSE.txt and MinimServer. Are you seeing this window? If so, you need to drag the file named MinimServer from this window to the Applications folder and continue from there with step 5 of the instructions. RE: MinimServer on Mac High Sierra 10.13.3 - Kevin Walton - 30-04-2018 14:35 Problem solved. Thanks for all you help. RE: MinimServer on Mac High Sierra 10.13.3 - simoncn - 30-04-2018 15:27 No problem. I have updated the instructions to make it clearer which file is the MinimServer application launcher. |
