Hi Simon,

your are right. I use puddletag, a very powerful tag-editor under linux.
You can configure to preserve file modification times. I'll change this
option to update the timestamp when tags will be modified.

Thanks for letting me know. MinimServer checks the file length as well as the timestamp, and I would have expected the file length to decrease when removing a tag. It's possible to embed padding within the file, so perhaps Puddletag is adjusting the padding size instead of changing the file length.
