Nor does mine. But, like Simon, I prefer the sound quality when I transcode from FLAC to WAV24. The good news is that previous reports on this forum indicate that your new Synology will be fully up to the task of transcoding your FLAC files if you wish to try it, as this can be done by relatively low power devices.

Thank you. I shall be interested to see your conclusions. This is an area where there can be more than one opinion, so the important thing is to have options, which, fortunately, MinimServer/MinimStreamer gives us.
