RE: Using app with minimserver - stefano_mbp - 12-08-2020 16:12 ... anyway after the first run it discovers Minimserver instantly... I tried several times and the behavior is consistent RE: Using app with minimserver - Alandbush - 12-08-2020 16:32 @simoncn I wondered if a comparative debug log file showing MinimServer and Audionet AMM comms would be useful. So I followed the instructions in post #84 to create such a log file. I have ftp'd it to your server as MinimServer AudionetAAM debug logfile. 192.168.0.15 is the Windows pc 192.168.0.43 is the Android phone 192.168.0.41 is an Oppo bd player that can perform as control point and renderer Hope it is of some use. I tried several times and the behavior is consistentThanks My setup is starting the computer and mimim music server is automatically loaden in windows Then when all is settled on the computer i open the audionet app on the Phone, but no minim music server to see ( about 5 minutes later it is there on app, but too late ..lol ) RE: Using app with minimserver - stefano_mbp - 12-08-2020 19:54 ... my NUC8i3/MinimServer is on h24 ... just to better focus on the issue you could try to leave your windows pc/MinimServer on and verify the app behavior .... maybe upnp information takes a while to propagate over the network RE: Using app with minimserver - janamdo - 13-08-2020 08:30 Thanks Was it first that i must restart the minim music server on the computer each time i want to listen to music Now minimserver starts automatically up when windows 10 is started Now i must rescan or restart the minim music server in order that the audionet aMM shows up on my Phone Not a big issue to do this and i am glad with the functionality from minim music server Now it seems that the minim music server shows up on my Phone within less then 5 minutes ? ..now two minutes Thought it was a fixed number 5 minutes that the aMM is showing up on the Phone ?-.. i do a test again looks now after 3 minutes the minim musicserver shows up Too long of course When id a rescan of restart the minim musicserver then instantly the app aMM is showing up , but is a live signal The app aMM must transmit a signal to the minimserver in order to respond seems to me. Why it take so long ? I must send a debug log file to Audionet and the same problem occurs for the control point audionet PC on windows 10 RE: Using app with minimserver - simoncn - 13-08-2020 14:32 (12-08-2020 16:32)Alandbush Wrote: @simoncn Thanks for this. It shows the device at 192.168.0.41 sending M-Search (all) requests to MinimServer. MinimServer responds and the device connects to MinimServer. There are no M-Search requests from the Android phone. Did you start Audionet on this phone during the time the log was running? RE: Using app with minimserver - janamdo - 13-08-2020 16:12 I installed bubbleUpnp app and minimserver is showing immediately up in the app (, if i was right RE: Using app with minimserver - simoncn - 13-08-2020 20:19 Thanks for this. All evidence seems to be pointing to Audionet as the cause of the problem. RE: Using app with minimserver - janamdo - 13-08-2020 20:52 Yes that what i thought too that the app is malfunctioning: still strange. The audionet app has a debug mode and can also be send to audionet Germany Its a limited use of audionet pc , because its designed for audionet hardware, but its still functioning with the minim server. I can send a debug log file to audionet Germany for the app and maybe it will be solved? After all minim and audionet works together now : its only a minimal extra handling to rescan the minim server on the computer. RE: Using app with minimserver - simoncn - 13-08-2020 21:07 You only need to do a restart, not a rescan. A restart is quicker. |
