I got a message in Synology DS213+ that Java 7 SE needs updating. I go through the usual routine but keep getting 'Invalid File Format'.
The file is called - ejre-7u55-fcs-b13-linux-ppc-e500v2-headless-17_mar_2014.tar.gz
I uninstalled the previous version then tried installing the new version and got the same error. I tried reinstalling the version I had previously and get the same error message.
Now I don't have Java 7 SE on my NAS and can't use Minimserver.
I put the file in my public folder on the NAS beside the others.

The older two installed and worked before, now they don't install.
Also, it doesn't give the details of the file I should download anymore...

This sounds like a problem with the recently updated patters package. Have you contacted patters about this?

Thanks Simon, I'll try that although I don't see how that would impact on reinstalling the versions I had working before.

From your post, I thought you were using the latest patters package to install the earlier versions. The patters package is tied to a single hard-wired version.
