Hi Simon,
I defined a m3u file for Mother Earth Radio 24/192 stream (and MER Instrumental, Jazz and Klassik as well) using the notation
[id;type,samplerate] name
as suggested in the user guide
but unfortunately, while the sample rate is ok (192), the bit rate is wrong as it show up as 16bit instead of 24bit (using Linn and JPlay apps)
Is this a known issue?

I retrieved the Mother Earth Radio links on HiRes Radio site
I transcode the stream into wav, same resolution (flac:wav)

This sounds like an issue with the control point. Please post the .m3u entry you are using so that I can confirm this.

Using this .m3u file, the bitrate is shown correctly as 9216 kbps by Linn Kinsky. My renderer is a Melco N1Z with USB-attached dCS Rossini.
