Full Version: music stops playing after a min or two

I have been using yamaha rx-v679 to stream music from my computer using MinimServer for years and I had not had a problem until recently.

The streaming just stops after a minute. I need to restart the receiver or stop the streaming on the receiver and start again.

I hope someone can shed some light on this for me. Please see the error log below. And thanks a lot in advance.

What computer are you you using to run MinimServer? If it is a Mac, it might be going into power save which will stop music streaming.

I use win 11 pro and I have set the usb mass storage to not allow the computer to put it to sleep. My files are hosted on an external usb drive.
Please produce a debug log using the following instructions:

1) In your control point, browse to a file that you want to play
2) From the minim icon, select 'Show log'
3) In the log window, change the logging level to Debug
4) In the log window, click the Clear button
5) Leave the log window open
6) Try to play the file (once only)
7) When playback stops, click 'Save as' in the log window and save the log file
8) In the log window, change the logging level back to Info
9) Zip the log file and attach the zipped file to a post here

I will look at the log file and let you know what I find.
