I'm hesitant to upgrade my NAS to QTS 5.0 (from latest 4.5 release) before confirming that MinimServer will still run. Does anyone have any experience?
EDIT: I updated now, it runs without problems.
I don't see a JRE package in the list of packages available for QTS 5.0. This would be a problem for running MinimServer.
Edit: QNAP have confirmed that there is a JRE package for QTS 5.0 even though for some reason it isn't shown on the QNAP Download Center page.
Oh! I have just updated to QTS 5.0, and MinimServer is just always "starting", and so, what can we do ...
What NAS model are you using to run QTS 5.0 and MinimServer? Have you installed the JRE package?

Working for me on HS-251+.
I’m running MinimServer 2.0.18 with JRE 8.151.2.1 on QuTS Hero version 5.0.0.1772 and it works great.

That means JRE is still available in the AppStore? Can that also be concluded for QTS?
