Hi Minimserver/Minimstreamer friends,

I have been using the free version of Minimserver/streamer for quite a while to enable my Cyrus streamer to play radio stations, after TuneIn radio did not work anymore. It mostly works, although there are some strange things. In this post I would like to ask how I can make https:// streams working.

As far as I can tell, most http:// streams simply work (see my other thread that I will make after this one). However, all https:// streams result in "Failed to Browse" on my streamer.

Is there a way to make this work?

Technical info:
Minimserver running on a raspberry Pi
Cyrus XP2 streamer
particular stream: JB-Radio https://maggie.torontocast.com:8076/mp3 (or aac)

Thanks,
MaBo
It sounds like your Cyrus streamer doesn't support https streams. My streamer has the same limitation. The solution is to use MinimStreamer to access the network stream using https and relay the stream to the Cyrus using a local http connection.
