I have several multi-disc albums which are tagged with the album title in the format "album title (Disc n)." All display and play as expected by disc number. In the "now playing" screen in Linn Kazoo or other control points, is there any way to display the disc number for multi disc albums when playing only one disc, without having to display a disc number for other, single disc albums? Put another way, how can I show the entire title including (Disc n) when it's present? My current tagformat for album title is Album.displayFormat={$album^$Date^ (^)$#AudioQuality^ [^]}.
Thanks
Hi Simon, I got an email notification that you had posted a response, but now don't see it.
I did post this earlier and I don't how why it is not there now. I hope no other posts have got lost.
This isn't possible at present but I am thinking about whether it would be possible to change a few things inside MinimServer that would allow users to enable this as an option.
If this were to be supported, it could not be done "when playing only one disc". Enabling this option would mean you always get the disc number in the Now Playing album title when playing any track in any multidisc album that is tagged in the format "album title (Disc n)". You would also see the disc number as part of the album title when viewing any tracks of the album while browsing your library and also on the playing queue. Would you use this option if it worked this way?

Absolutely, that would be perfect. Thanks for the response.

Simon, there was some weirdness going on earlier whereby clicking any link on the forum resulted in a redirect to a holding page - screenshot attached. I didn't think anything about this earlier as I assumed it was something you, or your hosting company were doing.

Thanks for letting me know about this. This would have been the hosting company. I hope mine was the only post that got lost.

OK, I will put this on the "to be investigated" list.
