Hello,
Since yesterday I have a problem with starting server , the server reports an error: error locking config file.

Any ideas?

I have:
- version 0.8.3 with update 65, yesterday I had 0.8.1
- Synology DS112
- DSM 5.2.

I've tried uninstalling and upgrade but without any result.

Could it be that this effect of power failure and emergency shutdown?

I look forward to your guidance.
Thanks in advance.

P.S. In Putty:
./minimserver.config.lock: Input/output error

./minimserver.config.lock: Input/output error

This would usually mean that MinimServer is running already, so the config file is locked by the other running instance of MinimServer.

In MinimWatch, does MinimServer show up as running?

Try stoppiing MinimServer from the Package Center, then reboot the NAS, then run MinimServer from the Package Center. Does this fix the problem?
I've tried this, unfortunetly without result as well.
In MinimWatch I have the same error and red icon.
I've restarted MinimServer from the Package Center and still the same problem.
On the web page of MinimServer I have info that server stopped.

Taking this one step at a time:

1) What happens in MinimWatch when you use the Package Center to stop MinimServer? Do you see any minim icons?

2) What happens in MinimWatch after you reboot the NAS with MinimServer stopped? Do you see any minim icons?

3) What happens in MinimWatch after you restart MinimServer after rebooting the NAS with MinimServer stopped? Do you see any minim icons?

There was a problem like this some time ago. It was fixed on 30th December 2014 in the 0.8.3b version of MinimServer for Synology. Please download the 0.8.3b version of MinimServer for Synology from this page and install this version using a manual install in the Package Center.

Please try the following:
1) In Package Center, stop MinimServer
2) In File Station, navigate to the MinimServer/appData folder
3) Delete the minimserver.config.lock file
4) In Package Center, run MinimServer
hmm... I can't get in this folder, I have Input/output error ;o((

OK, this explains why MinimServer can't lock the config file. Try deleting the appData folder. If you can't do this, try uninstalling MinimServer, then delete the MinimServer shared folder and reinstall MinimServer.
ok, I've completly removed MinimServer from the Package Center (I mean without backup config files).
After NAS restart I've checked in Package Center and I don't have MinimServer.
But when I try to remove appData folder in FileStation I can't, but I can change name of this folder.

Any other ideas?
