Full Version: TXXX frame warning

After indexing the music library, the MinimServer log file shows a list of warnings similar to this one: "Warning: ID3v2 TXXX frame has missing description at offset ### in file ... ". I'm not quite sure what they mean and how I can fix the tags so that the warnings disappear. I don't think performance is affected, as the songs seem to stream ok. Any thoughts?

I also have a couple of "Warning: audio stream corruption at offset 54495 in file ...". Again, not sure what that means and how it can be rectified.

The first message means your tagging software has written an ID3v2 TXXX frame in an incorrect format. You might be able to fix this by putting the file through a converter such as dBpoweramp (convert from MP3 to MP3).

The second message means the initial portion of the audio stream in the file is corrupt. This is preventing MinimServer from using this initial portion to estimate the duration of the audio. When you play the file, you might hear a click or similar glitch in the first 1 second of audio. I don't know of any way to fix this other than by ripping the file again.
