Problems with Synology DS213j/Lumin

It seems that there is still a problem with the Java package and the DS213j. The package asks for the hard-float version of Java although it should be the soft-float version.
Please see this post for a possible workaround.

Winxi, it worked perfectly! Thank you very much! The only thing now is that I got a message saying that /volume1/Music was not a valid directory. I then went to folder properties, gave read/write permissions, think that did the trick because I ran the Lumin App on the iPad and minimiserver on Synology DS213j is there ard it instantly loaded the new library. Great!

I will probably record a "tutorial video" and include that on our review of the Lumin.

Setting the Multicast to IGMP v3 and now everything works fine.

I'm glad to hear this has solved the problem.

I've had some problems with Mac OS X not handling IGMP v3 messages correctly. If you are using Mac OS X, you might find things work better with IGMP v2.
