'DiskStation/Music' is not a valid directory. To find out the correct string for the content directory, please do the following:

1) In the DSM webinterface, open the 'File Station' and navigate to the directory where your music files are located.
2) Right click on this directory and select 'Properties'
3) In the property window under the 'General' tab, you will find the correct path for this directory next to 'Location:'

The path will be something like '/volume1/music'. Please note that you have to copy this exact case sensitive string to the contentDir property in MinimWatch.

Does MinimWatch still show a minim icon for MinimServer? If so, select Restart from the minim icon. If there is no minim icon, or if the Restart selection is disabled (grey), use the Synology Package Center to stop and restart MinimServer.

After restarting MinimServer, use MinimWatch to check that the contentDir value is correct.

Basically, a yellow icon means that MinimServer is starting. The first time starting process can take a while, depending on the number of music files you have in your content directory. MinimServer will not be visible to a control point (Kinsky) until it has indexed all your music files.

However, under certain circumstances (i.e. a wrong or empty setting for the contentDir property) the MinimServer startup process can hang with the current version of the Synology package. Please try the following:

1) Uninstall MinimServer using the Synology package center and choose not to backup the config-file.
2) Reinstall MinimServer and leave the textfield for the content directory empty during the installation process.

The installation process should now automatically choose '/volume1/Music' for the content directory and MinimServer should be visible in Kinsky after MinimServer has indexed all your music files.
The problem with the startup-hang will be fixed in a future version of MinimServer.
