Dynamic Track Info

I was looking at Minimstreamer as a potential solution to my current upnp client and renderer not decoding and displaying Dynamic track info of internet streams. Looking at the package info on the website there was something about track metadata being removed as a result of using Minimstreamer....is this the case? If so, perhaps minimstreamer isn't the solution i was looking for.

I'm using bubbleupnp as the client and Marantz Streamer, internet streams are premium account streams from Digitally Imported and appear on the client as SHOUcast streams (if thats helpful??)

Unfortunately MinimStreamer does not preserve metadata in network streams. This is because the decoded and/or transcoded audio stream that MinimStreamer sends to the UPnP renderer needs to be playable by a very wide range of devices with different capabilities, so a "lowest common denominator" policy is applied.
