RE: Using app with minimserver
Do have jawaw.exe on different locations on the computer
G:\Programfiles\Maple2020\jre\bin\jawaw.exe- TCP protocol-localhost C:\Program files(x86)Java\jre1.8.0_261\bin\jawaw.exe- UDP protocol pointing to Marantz <- (red Arrow) ? maybe meaning no udp -1900 lokale ,state active (no icoming/outcoming bytes ) I think i must add this in the AVG vantivirus and allo w entrance then? I added C:\Program files(x86)Java\jre1.8.0_261\bin\jawaw.exe- in list for not shield and scan operations With a open app and starting up minimserver on PC: the miniserver is showing up in App : that'sgood This is troublesome installation. |

RE: Using app with minimserver
MinimServer uses the system version of javaw.exe: C:\Program Files (x86)\Java\jre1.8.0_261\bin\jawaw.exe. The other version is specific to the Maple2020 program.

RE: Using app with minimserver
Is it not possible to built in on the minimserver : that it sends an Alive notification after a certain timeinterval all the time ?
That works when i rescan the minimserver : it showing up in the audionet app Advantage is that this setup for AVG can be minimal. |

RE: Using app with minimserver
Is your local network defined to AVG as public or private? It should be private. If it is public, this might be the reason why MinimServer is being blocked by AVG. You can check this on AVG's Full Protection > Enhanced Firewall page.

RE: Using app with minimserver
MinimServer uses the ohNet UPnP stack and ohNet does not allow an application to use "flooding" of Alive messages to compensate for network discovery problems.

RE: Using app with minimserver
This is because the Marantz and the TV are not running AVG. Can you try completely disabling AVG protection for a short time as a test to confirm that AVG is causing the problem?
