RE: What to do with the minimserver 2
Thanks
Intelligent browsing , yes and Audionet RCp gives a default list with "tags" ( right?) , but how to use further with the minimserver 2
There are no examples to see from user how they use their intelligent browsing features for a muscilibrary
So i don't know what to to do next ?

RE: What to do with the minimserver 2
What do you want to do that you cannot do with the default property settings in Starter Edition? For example, do you want more tags to appear in the index or do you want to see tags in the index sorted in a different order? There are many other things you can do and these are all described in the online user guide.

RE: What to do with the minimserver 2
Thanks
Noticed that index tag :" Composer" is not showing up on Audionet RCP library (its listed on the server tab :index Tags )
Let me say , what is the quality of the music in my library, so a tag( property?) for this to start with
Is there is new desired tag added by me , then i must be added on the server tab at heading : Index tags ?

Yes, it's all described the possibilities for properties, but i like to see a example of a user who has extend the basic properties configuration if possible.
( a template for properties , or is this to general for most users ? )

RE: What to do with the minimserver 2
Are you sure that your audio files contain Composer tags? MinimServer can only show tags that are present in your audio files.

The tagCustom property has been removed from MinimServer 2.

RE: What to do with the minimserver 2

Ah, yes i was thinking on this too ,that it might has something to do with the audiofiles content.
Never investigate audiofiles, so i don't know what particular audiofiles has this information stored?
Probably with classical audiofiles then you get a "composer" index tag .

In general don't know what sorts of information is stored in audiofiles ?( flac for the high quality and i don't use mp3 because it is has a lesser sound quality as i understand it correctly )

RE: What to do with the minimserver 2
There are some conventions but no standard. Most files will contain Artist, Album, Date and Genre tags. Anything else depends on how the files were produced. Where did your files come from?

To check the tags in your files, you can use a tagging program such as Mp3tag.
