stuck with my tagFormat config again
Hi mates, haven't played with Minimserver since some time.
Looks I was lucky enought to update prior to running into -107 problems.
But I got stuck at another thing.

my TagFormat worked ok with the folling configuration:
artist.displayformat\={$albumartist^}, album.displayFormat\={$album^$albumsubtitle^ [^] $Date$AlbumVersion$ReleaseYear^ <^>^ }, title.displayformat\={$tracknumber^^. $title^$subtitle^ [^] $version^ <^>\#AudioData^ }

but not can't get it running.
Error is "incorrect optionname 'displayFormat\' in property tagFormat

any idea what happened?
For better understanding .. worked with MininServer running on Win10 ... not I tried Minimserver on my NAS, but I bet that shouldn't make much of a differnce?

The displayFormat format should not be suffixed with a backslash (\). See Tag formatting section for more detail.

Is this possibly a case of differing platforms with differing text encoding?

RE: stuck with my tagFormat config again
dammit .. that was an easy one ...

but I just x-checked with my windows installation.
On Windows the MinimServer doesn't moan at all and does what I expected.

On the NAS it's more stict and expects the config with the '\' as you mentioned.
I'll right now check what'll happen if I strip the '\' on the windows machine aswell, on the other hand I only used this for inventing new MinimServer configuations with only 2 albums in the contentDir since that's lot's faster but always re-scanning the whole musiclibrary on the NAS.

thanks a lot for the fast response

RE: stuck with my tagFormat config again
This problem indicates that you have copied and pasted text from a .config file into the MinimWatch or MinimServer properties window. It is not related to Windows vs NAS differences.

If you copy text like this, you must strip the \ characters after copying it.

Copying text into a .config file is strongly discouraged and will be prohibited soon.

Correct Smile You are a genius realising how it happened Smile
Look out for an upcoming request, perhaps there's already a solution for it I can't think of right now. But got nothing to do with tagFormat since so new thread.
