Minim Server Llibrary Loading Speed with Melco
I have a Melco N1ZH 6 Tb mk 1 version.
I have around 4 TB of stored music and running the standard Twonky server software from Melco which takes approx. 25 min to load from a cold start.
How much quicker would Minimserver take to load the same amount of data after install....?

RE: Minim Server Llibrary Loading Speed with Melco
MinimServer keeps a cache of the information in your music files so it would be slower the first time you start it but it should be quicker after that.

And Simon has instructions in the installation guide for Melco about stopping Twonky so you don't have Twonky and MinimServer running at the same time.

Stopping Twonky will significantly improve the performance of MinimServer.

Has someone that installed on a Melco noticed the difference..?

How many files do you have, I think this is more important than the total disk space taken up by the files.
