Booklets with BubbleUPNP in android
These have been two great additions to the feature set: the ability to hide files (in my case low res oggs destined for portable devices) and booklet support - thanks very much.
One tiny inconvenience with the booklets, though, is that the link opens in a browser, which then downloads the pdf to the default location, instead of offering a pdf reader as the handler (if I select the actual music file then I could choose VLC in my case). I presume this is to do with mime types? Would this come from Mimimserver or from Bubble? Mike |

RE: Booklets with BubbleUPNP in android
When I click on the metadata link for the booklet in BubbleUPnP, the PDF file is opened and shown automatically with no user interaction needed. I recall that I needed to do something involving a PDF viewer to make this happen but I don't remember the details.
The MIME type sent by MinimServer for digital booklets is application/pdf. |

RE: Booklets with BubbleUPNP in android
Sorry Simon: my mistake! The browser I usually use (ghostery) does not hand off the pdf to the readers. The stock browser does it properly.
All in all this is an excellent upgrade! Thanks again, Michael |
