Hi Simon, I want to be sure I do this correctly so, if you can bear with me, I would like to ask one more question. Should I point Konfig to the zip file or unzip the file to folder and point Konfig to the folder with the unzipped files? Thanks, Chip |

As I said in my previous post, you should point Konfig to the zip file.

RE: Radio Streams stop playing after minutes playing
Understood, Konfig to the zip file and it will use the proper files.
I will try this over the weekend and report my results. |

RE: Radio Streams stop playing after minutes playing
Hi Simon,
I downgraded to Davaar 37 by following your instructions without any problems. I have now been listening to the streams that did not play past 12 to 15 minutes for the last couple of days without any stops. I think my only option now is to agree with you that it is probably a bug in Davaar 50. Do you have any contacts at Linn to report this problem? Thanks for all your help and patience, Chip |

It was suggested this should be in the Development section so I have copied my post to Development also. http://forums.linn.co.uk/bb/showthread.php?tid=34606 And now I have a suggestion it should be in DS Troubleshooting. Where should I post this so as not to annoy everyone by posting the same post in too many places? Linn DS DS Troubleshooting Development Chip |

You should post it in one place only. Either Troubleshooting or Development would be fine.

RE: Radio Streams stop playing after minutes playing
The Linn moderators have closed the thread in the Linn DS forum, and transferred it to Development. Before the transfer, I reported that transcoded (to WAV24) HLS streams were not playing in Davaar 52 beta; without transcoding, the streams were playing. Obviously, discussion on this should continue on the Linn forum, so this post is for information.

RE: Radio Streams stop playing after minutes playing
hi,
I've the same trouble like DavidHB's : I can't stream radio transcoded to wav24. My streamer is based on the Engineered NMR board. I do not understand why I can stream standard flac files to wav24 to the renderer without issue, but no radio stream My Synonolgy is doing the transcoding. What is the difference, for the Syno point fo view, to stream wav24 from flac files or mp3 stream ? I use UPnPlay as controler (android), this app has many features. Do I have to change some parameters ? mime type, etc... Thanks for explanation ? Rgds |
