I've no checkmarks set in the Windows File Service advanced settings menu.

If you have a check mark in 'Enable Windows file service" (not Advanced Settings), SMB/CIFS is active.

RE: Hibernate / sleep Synology 214play
I've been switching off the Synology manually after using it (let's say every evening) the last couple of weeks. Never did it go into hibernate state. I did install an DMS update (and the update for Minimserver). I expected and hoped to see my problem solved. But I didn't see any difference. 3 days ago I found out the Synology turn itself (completely) off. After I unticked this option the Synology worked as before. It goes into hibernate state (that option was and is ticked) en wakes up when necessary. And it still does work like I would like it to.
So, problem solved, but I do not know what did cause it.

I didn't change the settings for Windows file service (it is on).

Thank you for your help !
