44.1 is 4 characters and 44100 is 5 characters. I find it hard to believe that a difference of one character is important. The same applies to 2822.4 and 2822400.

I guess it's less about the length and more about seeing the sample rate in a format that is more standard. At least to me, I am used to seeing it expressed in thousands (44.1 vs 44100). Also for consistency because the MP3 data is expressed in thousands.

Obviously no big deal, just a little suggestion.

For lossy files, the bit rate is intentionally approximate (e.g., ~256k). To expand an approximate number to full precision (~256000) would make no sense in my opinion. Showing the sample rate as 44100 makes it clear that this is an exact number that hasn't been rounded to some arbitrary number of decimal places.

I checked a couple of control points (BubbleDS and Linn Kazoo) and these both show the sample rate in the same way that MinimServer does.

This isn't possible at present. I will add it to the list of requested enhancements for a future release.

Any news on that? Would be a great feature! Heart

This is now supported in MinimServer update 76 with a new "special tag" named #AudioDuration.

So now we can get Kazoo to display track lengths Big Grin (I guess Linn will add it eventually)

Will run with this for a few days to see if any issues. I know using Lumin control point I'll get it twice.

(in tagFormat title.displayFormat={$title$#AudioDuration} and add #AudioDuration to indexTags)

Awesome! Thank you! Now in BubbleUPnP my song titles show:

I Got Crazy (6:38 | FLAC | 16/44100)

Thank you!
