Minim Streamer stream converter field blank

I'm glad to hear it's working now. The content directory setting is mentioned in step 4 of the instructions. The m3u file should be saved as ANSI and I will add a note to the instructions saying this.

I am now trying to get mininstreamer to work with a Naim NDS. Everything looks right but it doesnt play anything (all works fine sreaming to my phone or Volumio). I think I might ned to transcode. But could do with some advice.

What type of file are you trying to play (e.g., FLAC, M4A, MP3, AAC, WAV)?

Hi Simon,

I am trying to stream BBC radio using your streamer software and outputtin gthrough minimeserver to the Naim NDS.

As I say I know I hav the BBC thing right as I can get it to work using my phone as the streamer or Volumio. The NDS however, there is nothing.

The strema converte field is blank and if I try to enter *:L16 to the transcode field it does not work.

Any help greatly appreciated.

What platform are you using to run MinimServer and MinimStreamer?

You can install the libav-tools package with this command:

sudo apt-get install libav-tools

When this has completed, you should be able to set the stream.converter property to avconv.
