You don't need to download MinimServer again. There are three ways to do this:

1) If you have .autoUpdate enabled (the default), relaunching MinimServer (not Restart or Rescan) automatically updates all installed packages to the latest versions

2) If you are running MinimWatch, you will get a prompt asking you if you want to update the MinimStreamer package

3) You can check for and install updates by selecting About from the minim icon and clicking 'Show updates' in the About dialog
