RE: Guidance for upgrading to Synology DSM 6.0
Simon; My Synology is requesting an update to DSM 6.14.15217 however when I attempt to update a message comes up saying MinimServer will not be supported with this update. Hence I am successfully running DSM 6.0.2-8451 Update 9. Any upcoming update to MinimServer for this issue?

Thanks

It's the same procedure as often with the last updates. I did the update anyway. After the reboot I just had to manually start BubbleUPnPServer und minimserver again. So everything is fine. => DS213+

RE: Guidance for upgrading to Synology DSM 6.0
Updated MinimServer on DS412+, got the same error message (not compatible) but updated OK and MinimServer started without any intervention from me (Rescan etc).

System: ALAC iTunes library on Synology DS412+ (running MinimServer) > Airport Extreme bridge > Optical isolation > dCS Network Bridge (controlled by Galaxy Tab S2 tablet running BubbleUPnP&Mosaic) > PS Audio DirectStream DAC > Primare A60 > Harbeth SHL5plus 40th Anniversary model

This problem of the incorrect DSM message about MinimServer is apparently fixed in DSM 6.2. You will continue to see it on "major" 6.1.x updates and you should ignore it.

I just update my Synology 712+ to DSM 6.1.5-15254 and minim server is not working.     I restart everything but still say:
Unexpected exception java.lang.NullPointerException

Did you reinstall Java? That fixed everything for me...

Please post your minimserver.log file. You can find this in the MinimServer/appData shared folder.
