Streaming cutouts - Gt3RS - 20-11-2019 07:36

I just installed the server and the stream keeps getting interrupted.
The networks is stable with <2ms latency and I have no issues while streaming movies or music using Windows media player.

I have windows 10, 256GB of ram, 2 socket 24 cores and 2x 3.2TB NvMEs

Any help would be appreciated.

What device do you use to play your music? Is it the same Windows 10 machine or something else?

Is the music hi-res, DSD, CD quality, MP3, M4A, etc.? Do the interruptions vary according to what is being played?

What do the interruptions sound like? For example, is it a split second, a few seconds, at the end of a track, part way though a track?

I am trying to play my music in a AURALIC VEGA G2, and I have a variety of files Hi-Res, DSD, Wave, FLAC, and Aiff. Lossless where it applies and 24-32 192KHz,384KHz either ripped from Hi Res CD or Vinyl through an Mytek Brooklyn DAC.
The sound gaps are at any time throughout the track with no pattern among the 1-1.5 second gaps.

The Windows machine has 2x2 Mellanox Connect X4 3 dedicated for RDMA between 2 machines with 2 Tesla GPUs that I use for machine learning and inferencing all connected to an Arista 7010T. One of the ports is dedicated to streaming in their own VLAN connected to the Vega. Although I have no issues with WMS or UMS, I like the lightness of Minim server.

Thansk for this information.

This sounds like a network issue. How are the Windows machine and the Auralic connected to the network? If they are not connected directly by Ethernet cables into the same switch or router, is it possible to try this as a test to see if things improve?
