Minim server stopped working - musicmansweden - 13-11-2017 18:37

Hi,

On my iMac today Minimserver normally runs perfect but today I get a confusion message:

"Minimserver: Integrity check failed for file minimserver.config"

Anyone have the same issue?

Thanks,

Johannes Larsson

MinimServer update 105 performs an integrity check on the minimserver.config file when MinimServer starts. If the user has edited this file in a text editor, MinimServer will detect this as an integrity violation and will refuse to start. To make changes to MinimServer properties, you must either use MinimWatch or use the 'prop' console command.

done some editing?

RE: Minim server stopped working - str-1 - 13-11-2017 19:38

Hi,

Minimum Server stopped working on my Synology DS2016j earlier this afternoon. The log text is as follows:

MinimServer 0.8.4, Copyright © 2012-2016 Simon Nash. All rights reserved.
Java™ SE Runtime Environment (build 1.8.0_101-b13)
Java HotSpot™ Client VM (build 25.101-b13, mixed mode)
Platform default charset is UTF-8
Integrity check failed for file minimserver.config
MinimServer failure: now stopped, use 'relaunch' or 'exit'
ending MinimServer

I have tried stopping and re-running MinimServer, but it remains greyed out in the Lumin control app on my iPad. Grateful for advice on what to do to get it working again.

Thanks,

Steve

Same issue here, exactly that message comes up, with red/minimserver icon at top of screen. Anyone know the fix yet?

Same here, didn't change anything, just stopped

Thanks!

Could someone who is having this problem please attach their minimserver.config and minimserver.log files to a forum post here. Many thanks.

Not quite sure if this is what you need, but here goes: this looks like the Log, no idea where the 'config' file is.

Simon,

I've migrated here from the "General" section of the forum to keep things together.

Set the log levels to debug and restarted both minimserver and minimwatch (logs attached)

Also my (relatively simple) config file. (had to rename this as attachment process doesn't like .config)

Good Luck.

(I can't find the options for Minimwatch, but I suspect that the Autoupdate is caused by the "true" option in the .autoUpdate property - I haven't changed it, so it must have reverted somewhere - presumably setting to "false" will inhibit it?)

Simon,

I've attached another file - I saw an error message go through briefly implying Minimwatch couldn't delete something in user/application data - this may have been at the point of Minimwatch update (but, as I say, since mine has reverted to "automatic" I can't be sure.

Anyway, there is a heapdump (which I'm sure you don't want given it's size) and a log which may or may not be relevant, but it's attached for completeness.
